Excalibur Filtermax™ Neutralizing Filters Brochure

What Is Acidic Water? Acidic water is any water with a PH below 7.0, as 7.07.5 is considered neutral. Since water dissolves more substances than other liquids, it is particularly vulnerable to contamination; meaning the water's PH can easily become unbalanced by both natural and man-made factors. When humans burn fossil fuels for example, sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxides are released into the atmosphere. These air pollutants mix with water and other materials before falling to the ground in the form of acid rain, which lowers the PH of the water sources it falls on.
